In Guangzhou, In Guangzhou, Autron has entered a new chapter. Our new facility was created not simply to increase capacity, but to bring every essential part of bag development closer together: materials, sampling, testing, production, quality control and customer collaboration.

Here, a product can begin with a material discussion, move into prototype development, pass through physical and chemical testing, and continue into controlled production under one clearer system. It is a place built for work that requires patience.

The right material. The right construction. The right standard before production begins.

From the first idea to the final shipment, every stage has been arranged to support one purpose: making better bags with greater consistency, clarity and trust.

A FACILITY BUILT AROUND CONTROL

_

The new Autron facility is located in Shiling Town, Guangzhou, one of China’s key centers for bag manufacturing. The site is divided into two main buildings. One is dedicated to R&D and the physical and chemical testing lab. The other brings together main production, showroom and office functions. This arrangement allows development, review, testing and production to work more closely with one another, instead of standing apart as separate steps.

"For our customers, this means a clearer way to work with us. "

AUSTIN CHAN, MANAGING DIRECTOR

For our customers, this means a clearer way to work with us. Materials can be discussed with the sourcing team.

Samples can be reviewed with the pattern and development team.
Quality concerns can be checked with the lab and QC team.
Production decisions can be made with greater visibility.

A factory becomes more valuable when every part of it is connected.

WHERE PRODUCTION BEGINS

_

Every bag begins long before it is sewn. In the cutting area, materials are prepared with accuracy before they enter the production line. Press cutting, skiving, splitting and hand cutting each serve a different purpose, but together they define the first structure of the product. This is the quiet beginning of consistency. A clean cut helps a seam sit correctly; A controlled thickness helps a fold remain stable; A well-prepared component makes the work that follows more reliable.

From there, the product moves into gluing, edge painting and sewing — processes that are often less visible to the customer, but essential to the final result.

In the gluing area, strength is built beneath the surface. Adhesive application, drying time and material handling all affect how a bag holds its shape over time.

In edge painting, the finish of a product is refined by hand and by process. The edge is sealed, layered, dried and polished until it becomes clean, smooth and durable.

In the sewing area, separate parts finally become one structure. Autron’s sewing floor includes four main production lines and one dedicated leather production line, allowing different materials and product types to be handled with the right process and attention.

A bag is made through many small decisions.

The angle of a stitch.
The pressure of a fold.
The finish of an edge.
The way a handle sits on the body.

Each detail matters because each one becomes part of the product’s life after it leaves the factory.

TESTING BEFORE PRODUCTION GOES FURTHER

"Quality cannot be based on appearance alone "

XINJIAN LEE, PRODUCTION HEAD

Inside our physical and chemical testing lab, materials, hardware and components can be checked before they move deeper into production. The lab supports tests for tensile strength, color, abrasion, aging, flexibility, coating thickness, pH value, zipper abrasion, material flexing, peel strength, oscillation impact and salt spray resistance for metal hardware. This is where a material is asked to prove itself. Not only how it looks, But how it performs; How it reacts; How it holds up under use.

For bag production, this matters at every level. A fabric must keep its stability. A coating must resist wear. A zipper must move reliably. Hardware must withstand oxidation risk. A color must be checked under controlled light. Testing does not replace craftsmanship, It protects it, By identifying risk earlier, we are able to make better decisions before bulk production begins.

INSPECTION, PACKING AND STORAGE

_

Before a product leaves Autron, it passes through its final stages of control. Inspection is not treated as the end of production, but as the confirmation of everything that came before it. Workmanship, construction, appearance and function are checked against the approved standard.

Packing then protects the finished product for its journey. A bag must arrive in the same condition in which it was approved. Its shape, surface, hardware and packaging all need to be protected with care.

In the warehouse, raw materials, hardware trims and finished goods are stored by category, stage and shipment status. The warehouse is also supported with dehumidification control, helping reduce moisture risk during storage and protecting materials and finished goods from mould, odour, deformation, hardware oxidation and packaging damage.

Storage is not only about space. It is part of quality protection.

R&D

_

Development becomes real in the sample room. Here, ideas move from sketch, reference or material direction into physical prototypes. Pattern engineers and sample makers work together to refine shape, construction, proportion and function.

Autron’s in-house sample room includes 12 sample makers and 6 pattern engineers, supporting fast prototype development and sample correction. Monthly sampling capacity reaches 500–700 pieces, with a standard sampling lead time of 7–20 days.

But speed alone is not the point.

A good sample must answer questions: Can this shape hold its structure? Can this material be used in production? Can the detail be improved? Can the price, function and finish work together? The sample room allows these questions to be solved before they become larger problems in bulk.

THE SHOWROOM

_

The showroom was designed as a place for direction. Not only to display what Autron has made, but to help customers see what can be developed next. Each area is arranged around a different product language: leather, fashion, summer raffia and straw, casual fabric, yoga and sport, men’s, outdoor, evening and party, gifts, charms, trims and material options.

A customer may arrive with a clear brief, Or only a mood, Or a market need that has not yet become a product.

The showroom gives that conversation a place to begin.

"The purpose is not to overwhelm customers with options, It is to help them find the right path."

AUSTIN CHAN, MANAGING DIRECTOR

Autron materials lounge where customers review leather, PU, fabric, raffia, hardware and trim options.

The Materials Lounge.

Every product begins with a material choice.

In the Materials Lounge, customers sit with our team to review, compare and select the materials that will define their next development. It is a quieter, more focused space — made for touching, comparing and discussing.

Leather, PU, fabric, raffia, straw, hardware and trim options can be reviewed side by side.

A color can be compared under the right light; A texture can be felt by hand; A weight can be judged in relation to the product; A finish can be discussed before sampling begins. This is where a concept becomes more precise.

The Materials Lounge brings that decision closer to the customer.

A PLACE FOR CUSTOMERS

_

Autron meeting room designed for customer presentations, collection reviews and project discussions.

A factory visit should not only show machines. It should help customers understand how their products will be developed, reviewed, improved and delivered.

Our meeting room is designed for formal presentations, collection reviews and project discussions. It is where direction is aligned, timelines are discussed and decisions are made with clarity.

The Coffee Lounge offers a different rhythm.

After meetings, showroom visits or factory tours, customers can sit with our team, have coffee or soft drinks, and continue the conversation in a more relaxed way.

Some decisions are made in presentations.

Some trust is built in the quieter moments after them.

Both are part of how we work.

BUILT FOR DEVELOPMENT AND SCALE

_

The new facility supports both development speed and stable production capacity.

Autron’s monthly production capacity reaches up to 100,000 units. Monthly sampling capacity reaches 500–700 pieces.

The goal is not only to make more.

It is to develop better, decide faster and produce with greater control.

A STEP TOWARD B CORPORATION

_

A stronger facility is not only about production, It is also about the kind of company we want to become. At Autron, responsibility is being built into our system — in the way we select materials, manage suppliers, improve working conditions, reduce risk, and support more transparent production for our customers.

Our new facility is part of that direction.

Autron is currently working toward B Corporation certification, with the goal of bringing our social, environmental and governance responsibilities into a more recognized international framework. Our facility plan also includes Sedex SMETA 4 Pillar, BSCI, Higg Index, GRS / RCS and ISO 9001 as part of our broader compliance and responsibility system.

B Corporation is an important next step for Autron.

Not because responsibility should be presented once, but because it should be practiced every day, through the system behind every order.

This facility marks a new stage for Autron.

It gives us more space, but more importantly, it gives us a clearer system.

A place to develop with customers.

A place to test before production goes further.

A place to control each stage with greater discipline.

A place to build better products with more confidence.

This is the new Autron facility.

We look forward to welcoming you to Guangzhou.
